Marcus has a wealth of real estate experience both from a buyer's agent and sales agent role. Marcus loves getting deals secured for clients and his focus on relationships often lands him some great off market deals as well. He loves his AFL and comes from a Victorian regional town, but has been living in Sydney so naturally follows the Sydney Swans now (he was born in Sydney though, so we accept this!).

My journey within real estate commenced with residential sales, where I discovered a genuine passion for assisting buyers. This interest propelled me towards a career in real estate commencing in sales, then progressing progressing to buying properties for individuals, leading me to ultimately join the Search Property team.

My ability to understand markets thoroughly, combined with the negotiation techniques I acquired as a selling agent, positions me as an extremely productive buyers' agent when interacting with real estate agents, creating win-win scenarios for all.
A challenging memory that comes to mind
The most challenging project I've undertaken involved successfully presenting quality property to a client, and helping them overcome doubts about the property. This property proved to do really well in the months/year that followed and the client was extremely pleased. This experience showcased my communication skills and determination in steering complex situations to achieve successful outcomes.

I actively listen to ensure I understand clients' needs thoroughly, so that I can source properties that suit their particular requirements.

Achievements and Client Success Stories
Getting an off-market deal for $530,000 and then having the client call on settlement to tell me that comparables are now selling for over $600,000.
The best time to buy real estate was 10 years ago. The second best time is today.

Hobbies and Interests Outside Work
Hanging out with friends, running, gyming and going to AFL.
My interest in health and fitness has made me into an extremely dedicated and disciplined character. Being a disciplined character plays to my advantage in the emotional rollercoaster of the BA world.
Vision and Future Goals
I see the future of real estate investment heading towards increased digitisation and technological integration, offering more streamlined and efficient processes for investors. Personally, I envision myself developing into a proficient leader within Search Property across various capacities, while expanding my expertise to enhance clients' experiences and adapt to the evolving landscape of the industry.
This year my goals include purchasing my first investment property before EOFY and running my first 100km Ultra Mara.
